The wire within the woven nylon fabric is two-core, and it can come with a porcelain lamp-holder or just as a plain cable. The lamp-holder has an E27 fitting for a large screw bulb.

The porcelain lampholder DOESN'T unscrew to allow a lampshade to be fitted to it. It is designed to be kept on display and used with the decorative lightbulbs. If you would like use the cable with a lampshade then just buy the plain cable and attatch your own lampholder to it.
