Karin studied Ceramic Design at Central St Martins. She exhibits
and sells her ceramic work all over the world. Her studio is
located in a beautiful building from 1860 in Solna, Sweden. Here
she create her ceramics and also has a shop called manos, where she
exhibits and sells her own work and other things that she
loves.
Most of her work is handthrown in porcelain or stoneware clay. She
works with simple timeless shapes and decorates with screenprinted
ceramic decals. She says 'I want the shape and the decoration to
blend together and make one explore the object - the decoration
sometimes dives down into the cup or trails it's way underneath the
plate'.
