Jane Blease is a designer/maker of lighting and interior
products from wood, acrylic, recycled and reclaimed plastics. She
studied at Manchester Metropolitan University on the Three
Dimensional Design course. After university she gained a place on
the Design Initiatives setting up scheme to develop her business.
She now has a successful shop/workshop in the Manchester Craft
Centre.
Jane gets inspiration from everything around her - nature,
exhibitions, travelling. All of her work is organic, either in
form, pattern or materials used. She loves creating contrast in her
work by combining sharp angular forms with flowing, organic
pattern.
