Helen Rawlinson is a textile designer, based at the Chocolate
Factory studios, London. Her print and machine stitched lampshades
have been popping up in homes throughout the UK and abroad for the
last decade.
Each lampshade is screen printed by hand, then perforated with
machine stitching to reveal an illumination of tiny pinpricks when
lit. It is this surprise element of dotted detail, which makes the
collection so appealingly original. To compliment the range, lamp
bases are simply turned in natural beech in a balanced choice of
shapes and finishes
All prints are used with solvent free water based inks onto natural fabrics. Packaging is recycled wherever possible.
