Joanna Coupland lives in York. At the age of 17 she studied fashion design at York College and left in 1983 with a distinction. After taking time out to bring up her children, she went back to college again to study textiles and surface desing at Cleveland College of Art and Design where she received a first class honours degree in 2003.
Joanna has exhibited her work in Indigo, Paris and at The Country Living Fair in London. Her clients have included Mango, Mini Boden and Aldo Martins based in Barcelona. She has also sold work to Linda Barker and Vic Reeves!
Joanna thrives on a challenge, commissions have included a 6 ft fairy, large canvases and bird sculptures.
